It's hard to believe that a mashup like Talisman: Star Wars Edition hasn't happened already. The two are perfect for each other - both franchises revolve around grand quests, tests of strength, and a Big Bad Evil Guy that has to be defeated at the finish of IT all. It's equal peanut butter and jelly. They just put to work.

That synergy extends to the final product. Amulet: Star Wars is a compelling spin on a expression that's more than 30 eld old, and IT weaves the better of some worlds in collaboration in a fun, intelligent manner. Is it one of the best board games? No. Simply it is a great introduction to more complex tabletop adventures.

The perfect blend

In Talisman: Star Wars Edition, you've got to save the galaxy. Putting you in control condition of Force-responsive characters drawn from the entire saga, you'll have to improve their stats through combat and hoarded wealth-hunt until you're powerful enough to take on Emperor Palpatine at Exegol. Each one and only is fattening with weathering personal effects and features the character's signature lightsaber along the wrong.

This isn't a trouble, of course; information technology sporting creates a disconnect in a game that's other very immersive.

And hey, those identifiable faces - combined with rules that are pretty elementary to learn - establish Amulet: Star Wars more approachable than the original fancy edition.
